There are days when we just don't want to get out of bed, let alone go out into public. Dogs, get us motivated, take them for a walk, sit with us as we cry or have anxiety. Somehow the dog just knows we need their presence, nudges, slurps, kisses and unconditional love. ESA dog training is also the foundation to creating a competent companion.
It is vital to know that you do have to have a documented diagnosis by a doctor in order to work with me. You must provide a letter from your primary care physician or psychiatrist that states you need an ESA dog and the diagnosis is part of your medical history.
ESA dogs, can mean the difference between function and not functioning at all. The most honorable way to establish your dog as an ESA dog is to ensure the proper training is done. This is because you are asking more of your dog than to be a traditional household pet; you are giving your dog an important role that implies it can be trusted.
The minimum level of dog training needed is up to the Canine Good Citizenship test. K9to5 also tests for behavior, and their temperament to ensure they are safe for everyone.
